What are AI tokens?

AI tokens are the unit that measures your AI usage. Every completion, chat message, edit, or generated research draws from your monthly pool — and the pool counts what the model reads (the source passages retrieved for you), not only what it writes. As a rough guide, 1,000 tokens ≈ 450 Arabic words or ≈ 750 English words. The pool resets at the start of each month; unused tokens don't carry over. On the Free plan the budget is daily — it refreshes every day rather than monthly.

What happens if I run out of tokens?

Only the AI features pause — completion, chat, edits and research generation tell you the month's quota is spent. Everything else in Baaheth keeps working: reading the library, uploading and reading PDFs, the editor, and export. You can upgrade to a larger plan and continue right away, or wait for the pool to reset at the start of the next month. On the Free plan the budget returns tomorrow, not next month.

Does Baaheth invent references that don't exist?

Accepted Answer

No — and it checks its own work. Baaheth quotes only from the sources actually retrieved for your research: the Arabic heritage library and the files you upload. After the text is written, a verifier opens each cited source and matches every quotation against it — a quotation attributed to the wrong source has its number corrected to the real one, and a quotation found in none of the sources loses its citation instead of being printed as a footnote. Every footnote names the book and page so you can verify it yourself.

Which languages does Baaheth support?

The interface is available in fourteen languages. The research itself is built around Arabic: the built-in library is a corpus of Arabic heritage sources, and generated research follows Arabic academic conventions — right-to-left layout, Islamic-style footnotes and bibliography. You can also upload files in other languages and quote from them alongside.

Is my data and research safe and private?

Your research is yours alone: your documents are never used to train models, they are stored encrypted, and you can permanently delete any file or research from your library at any time. To delete your account entirely, email us at baahethai@gmail.com.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Starting is free and needs no credit card. Paid plans are managed from “Manage subscription” in your account settings, which opens the secure billing portal — change plan, update your card, download invoices, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, with no extra fees.
